Cookie Dough Frosting Recipe

Want to have cookies but in a non-traditional form? How about having it as a frosting?

B&J's half-baked/cookie dough ice cream is the inspiration for this recipe. This is a raw frosting consisting of only butter, milk, brown sugar.

Simple chocolate cupcakes go well with this frosting. Pipe them into rosettes on top of your cupcakes and sprinkle some mini chocolate chips on top. Very attractive and enticing I must say.

If you have left-over frosting, simply spoon them onto a baking tray and bake for 15 mins till golden brown to get scrumptious egg-less cookies. I really like versatile recipes like this.

Ingredients
100g butter
50g brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
150g plain flour
100-150ml milk
Pinch of salt
Chocolate chips (to serve)

Method
1. Cream butter, sugar, vanilla extract together till light and fluffy.

2. Sieve in flour and mix well. Add in milk to adjust consistency - add more milk more a wetter texture
